Our Challenge

This challenge forms part of the MASSMa programme. In this challenge, you will use monitoring tools, the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and multi-agent systems to solve a problem faced by industry: reducing the energy consumption of a manufacturing process. You will be tasked with using a data fusion system to identify the main source of energy use, boost productivity and improve the process. Working in groups of five, you will interact with a machine tool or manufacturing equipment, add sensors, analyse the data and present the results to the industrial client PadOcc (accelerator for the Occitanie region industry). The programme includes a mobility period from 29 November to 4 December 2026.
