Health Economics in Action: From Idea to Impact
Our Challenge
This learning experience introduces students to the principles and applications of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) within modern healthcare systems. Focusing on health technologies such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and digital tools, the ELO provides a structured understanding of how these innovations are evaluated and adopted, in line with the EU HTA Regulation. Through a combination of theoretical insights and practical activities, students will develop the ability to critically assess evidence quality and apply basic decision-analytical approaches to support healthcare decision-making and resource allocation.
